   Batman, le célèbre homme chauve-souris, lointain cousin de Superman et Mandrake, part en guerre contre toutes les formes de crime sur la planète.

   Résumé
   Également adapté de la célèbre bande dessinée ce film n'est qu'une demi-réussite dont les meilleurs éléments sont les décors et l'interprétation (Nicholson et Palance en particulier). Mais son succès fut colossal aux États-Unis et l'opération de marketing provoqua une «Bat-mania» sans précédent. La musique du film, signée Prince, fut également un énorme succès.
